Well, halfway through The Invisible Womans spy adventure, what can we look forward to seeing next? I rather wish Id paid better attention to James Bond movies all these years; I might have a better idea of whats coming. Anyone know where I can watch some Man From UNCLE reruns, at least? The comic is filled with exciting twists, the art to text play is something that I see is being dabbled with. I would love to see that being explored more. If the creative team could find a way to reflect the emotions Sue is feeling within the art display as a form of “reveal” it would be a sight to see. Waids Sue Richards feels pretty solid as she continues her journey into espionage here. The disconnect between the well-worn character in the traditional comics and the super-spy in Waids world feels like a really compelling parallel universe drawn in the vein of a standard Marvel comic. But it would do better to sell the premise of wholesome heroine with a shadowy background. Greater integration with the more significant Marvel history could open the character up in so many ways that Waids not quite achieving here. Read Full Review

Sue takes her next two steps on her own, which is tremendously refreshing. Inventive use of her powers is still the script's strongest suit, and the art reaches a truly jaw-dropping level of gorgeousness. The back half of this issue takes a big leap in quality, fully paying off the "Sue as super-spy" premise and introducing a promising plot twist.

Really enjoyed this. In particular I love how they expanded on Sue's power set and spy skills but also showed her weakness to sound.
