I’m holding on to my sentiment that the Search For Tony Stark will ultimately have no need to be an eight issue arc, but I also realize that I shouldn’t complain too much when I’m still enjoying what I read, to a degree. At some point (specifically the next issue), though, this needs to start moving. I can only tolerate such little progress at $3.99 a month for so long. If you’re already on board the Stark search party, you shouldn’t skip this issue. It’s got the everything that’s kept you from abandoning the book for this long. The best issue of the storyline so far. It's not saying much, but it was okay. +Riri was showing maturity and her scenes were good +Tony and Howard hallucination was great -Doom scenes were not -Tony is now out of his armor, but the "search of Tony Stark" still moves forward very slowly, because they want it to last until 600. So 4 issues more, yay.

This issue wasnt bad, it just wasnt that good. there were some good parts, but it didn't really reveal anything and the cliffhanger seems out of place. The art remains good. I really like Maleev on the Doom scenes.

Riri deals wisely with the Starkweasels confiscating her gear, Tony hallucinates a cool conversation with Howard, and Doom nearly loses an embarrassing fight. The art throughout is solid and most of the character work is entertaining, but this comic is stuck in neutral when it comes to plot progression. This issue is effectively "random scenes from the lives of Tony Stark and associates." Brian Michael Bendis doesn't let Tony take center stage but fails to promote a usable replacement, sticking us with this weak quasi-anthology that might be entertaining but can't really be called a story.

Beyond bad. Bloated, irrelevant, full of subplots with characters no one cares about including the Hood and Tony Stark’s real mother. Includes a terrible melodramatic scene where a delirious Tony confronts his father about not knowing he was adopted. Still pointless to have Mary Jane in the cast. Bendis run has been disastrous
