You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff
Dec 18, 2019After all the weird specifics of Gwen's life throughout the past several issues, it's nice to see McGuire and Miyazawa handling a more traditional spider-story. Gwen is looking good as the trap slowly snaps shut on her, and she struggles to find a way out. The series could launch in a number of different directions for her here. It'll be interesting to see what McGuire comes up in 2020. Read Full Review

Dec 20, 2019I thought this issue was interesting enough as it was pretty much a set-up for events to come. We got some nice action with some decent dialogue that kept the reader in the loop. the pacing was good and the art fine. I would read the next issue to find out what happens next. Read Full Review

Dec 19, 2019Ghost Spider #5 moves the story from point A to point B with some rather forgettable character beats, but succeeds when playing with recognizable Spider tropes. Read Full Review

Dec 18, 2019These should be fun characters, but they're written in a way that tries to emulate those that have come before, and it lands with a thud. Read Full Review
