Overall, Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man gets right back on track this issue, closing out the Under York introductory story, in a fun and heart breaking way all in one issue. Tom Taylor does a great job of lulling you into a very positive state of mind before dropping the hammer here, really striking an emotional chord with the readers, leaving a definite impact, and making next issue a must read if you love these characters. A classic Spidey rendition. Art and writing that will make your heart smile and thump in equal measure. If you like the way All-Star Superman made you feel good, this title does the same for Spider-fans. So much to enjoy and not much to dislike. I don't envy the person who must drop a Spider-Man title from their pull list this month. Whatever you do don't drop this one, it really is the best of the best in the spider-family right now. Spidey and the Rumor stand up to the boss of Under York. And paying off this title's groundwork in magnificent fashion, the whole Friendly Neighborhood stands up with them. It looks great, it's got some memorable prose, and it's heartwarming as all hell. The "secondary" Spidey title with the slower publishing schedule is, once again, consistently outperforming ASM in terms of overall quality.

Great conclusion to this arc, Cabal's art was as great as always. The next issue will probably be quite emotional.

What a disgrace. Not the comic book neither the writer nor the artist. The attention that this comic book is receiving, that is the disgrace. Nobody is talking about this comic and the only question is: why? In my opinion Taylor is doing a better job in 4 numbers than Spencer in 17. This series does not explore the physiology of Peter, but is entertaining and funny to read and has a lot of high moments for the characters. Cabal reminds me Mikel Janin, their style are very similar but I prefer Janin, however sometimes the drawings are a bit off but the average of the art is good. Friendly Neighborhood Spider-man is a good reading.

While not a ground breaking tale, this spidey book really focuses on the things that make him a great character. Paired with an awesome art team, you really can't go wrong.
