Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #10 brings us to the end of the second arc, and what an ending it was. I loved how endearing this book has been so far. Never once letting us forget what it really means to be a superhero. That means looking for the best solution to a problem that doesn't always have to be fighting, seeing the best in everyone, and showing people that you can be more than your failings. This has been my favourite Spidey book in the Marvel lineup hands down – Tom Taylor continues to write a very human Spider-man, and Incorporates Iron Man/Tony Stark in a very organic way. This issue resolves the Fairgray pay arc, but it ends with a bit of a whimper rather than a bang. Still, everything is wrapped up nicely and it opens up nicely for the next arc. Read Full Review

Can we get Tom Taylor on ASM please? This isn't a knock on Spencer's run, but this series is what Spider-Man should be. Helping the little guy, solving street level problems, not just non stop action. Taylor focuses so much on what makes Peter Parker the good guy, not Spider-Man. While Spencer did that in his first arc, ever since then it just feels like non-stop action, which is what Slott's run felt like towards the end.

Tom Taylor continues to surprise us with his unpredictable storytelling of this new Spider-Man series. This issue really caught me off guard with how it ended. I'll be honest it wasn't the way I thought it was going to end with Iron Man/Tony Stark taking over the Fairgray company, but that's what makes it good because of how unpredictable the end was.
