Fantastic Four #30

An opportunity to see heroes face off is ruined when for some reason Venomized Johnny Storm thinks he can lecture Sue on her parenting skills and Venomized Ben raves at Reed for being a scientist. It is also a bit jarring to see a fast forward to the aftermath of the crossover at the issue's end where we just spend more time worrying about relationships. Fantastic Four #30 was a filler tie-in. It hardly connects to the main King In Black event but is used to set up future storylines and subplots for upcoming issues. Readers can either skip it or read it, it doesn't matter. The next issue is when the story gets back on track. Read Full Review

The Fantastic Four's slice of King in Black ends with the Knullified members hurling vicious psychological criticism at their unpossessed teammates. Then the story skips straight from conflict to epilogue without any real climax in between. It's well-illustrated and the dialogue is entertaining, making this a satisfying read. These two tie-in issues seem mighty skippable, though.

It was alright. I dont necessarily think its was bad but it was definitely not needed. It did have some good parts but overall it really didnt even wrap itself up it just ended the king in black part abruptly.

Useless King in black tie in. Slott tries to advance his story's narrative a bit but feels completely useless and waste of time.

This was a very boring wrap up. The character stuff doesn't actually give us more insight to the characters. It was just a retread. Who cares about most of this book, honestly? The only thing to really point out is this: It is exceedingly gross that this comic thinks not having consent to do something romantic/sexual with someone else is fine if it's your culture. This is a PSA: It's not fine.

I don't think I should compare between writers of two books I am always most excited for. FF and ASM. Slott tried to advance his plot with being a tie in King in Black. Spencer also tried to advance his plot with being a tie in of Absolute Carnage. But Spencer succeeded. Not much happened but we got the connection. Here not much happened other than every character showing their jerk side. Worthless. If I know about this before I read this issue, I would never touched this issue.
