Fantastic Four #10

While we don't learn much about the mysterious villain other then that he or she is starting to slip in hiding their identity, Fantastic Four #10 was a fun read none the less. This series is getting better and better as time goes by. Read Full Review

The Bottom Line: The fractured tales of a fractured Fantastic Four makes for an almost anthology-style reading experience, but this time it's mixing the familiar and the old school, resulting in the story finally going to some interestingly new places. However, one below par issue does not make this book as a whole poor, and this reviewer would still rather be reading an average Fantastic Four than a lot of other Marvel books on shelves right now, and Im still highly anticipating the next issue. When a series you've been loving puts out a middle-of-the-road issue, it hurts and that's what happened here. Understandably, not every issue of a series can be a masterpiece, but issue #10 of FANTASTIC FOUR feels like a bit of filler, stretched to fill 20 pages. Robinson sets up a lot here and all of it's pretty good, but half the issue being a conversation between Thing & She-Thing drags the book down. Overall, this series has been amazing and I can't wait for the next issue, but this one was a big bummer. Read Full Review

Fantastic Four #10 is nothing but a filler issue into the overall storyline. This plot could have simply been cut, and no one would had noticed. It's exciting to wonder where the She-Thing/Thing confrontation is going to happen, but all of that setup could have been added to a more substantial issue. This book puts the brakes on an excellent and dramatic telling of the fall of the Fantastic Four. Making this issue a real disappointment to read. Read Full Review

Dialogue feels like it comes from 1972. Characters act unbelievably. Dislike this.
