SCREEEEEAM!
SCREAM: CURSE OF CARNAGE writer Clay McLeod Chapman returns to the character to lend his lethal sensibilities to EXTREME CARNAGE!
Andi Benton has always been a fighter, and that's never been truer than since she bonded to the Scream symbiote a few months ago. But even after ABSOLUTE CARNAGE and KING IN BLACK, Andi has never had to fight like this - and, worse still, if she can't save her symbiote from whatever unseen force is affecting it, she might have to do it alone...

Comics: The Gathering - Nick Devonald
Jul 14, 2021A fantastic next chapter in Chapmans run on Scream, if this is the only way that readers get to experience what happens next for Andi Benton and her symbiote then fans will love it. As the second part of the Extreme Carnage event it’s still unclear how the entire series will come together but the pieces are there for an entertaining story, and hopefully this finished event will read coherently despite the different creative teams taking over the reigns as the series progresses. But Why Tho? - William Tucker
Jul 14, 2021Extreme Carnage: Scream #1 is a fantastic second issue of the crossover. The issue feels like a story solely dedicated to another plot, only for Carnage to appear and hijack it. Scream is practically dragged into the event, going from hidden to involved in a second...Even in a story where the details may not be relatable to the reader, the emotions are palpable. The art team have a style that may create flashbacks to the 90s, leaving a nostalgic feel without getting too obsessed with it. Read Full Review

Jul 16, 2021When a creative team puts their soul into the panels it creates more than a comic book, it creates an adventure the makes a connection with its readers. Extreme Carnage: Scream #1 has a great feel to it and delivers what the fans want. A great story with great art and just enough speculation that will keep folks coming back for more. Read Full Review

Jul 12, 2021Extreme Carnage: Scream does well to show and not tell what this event will be about. It also utilizes Scream's pain well to further grow and develop the character. Paired with a grittier art style and some great sound effects, it's well worth a look especially if you're on board for Extreme Carnage. Read Full Review

Comic Crusaders - M.R. Jafri
Jul 13, 2021The dark, mystical tone and tragic destruction of a strong partnership makes the comic more than a basic crossover tale, but it remains to be seen if the authors are truly willing to throw their partnership away to simply give Carnage a visible score. Sacrificing a female symbiote this early in the crossover seemingly simply to boost the male seems a bit excessive. Here's hoping the crossover is aiming to strengthen all the offspring symbiotes and this is simply a throwaway feint. Read Full Review
