Jul 14, 2017This issue is a step in the right direction. Hopefully the issues build off one another rather than being single-shot issues of the character before they're thrown into the main Venom storyline. I get the feeling the writers didn't consult each other when creating these issues so it might make little sense how the narration flows from one comic issue to the next. Treat them like single issues. Read Full Review

Jul 14, 2017EDGE OF VENOMVERSE #2 is filled with great meta jokes and references to comic book tropes from writer Chris Hastings. The sometimes ultra violent action scenes are made hilarious by artist Irene Strychalski rather cartoony art style. It's the perfect book for fans of darkly humorous comics. Read Full Review

Jul 19, 2017Edge of Venomverse #2 is a fun yet action-packed issue that manages to give us good characters and good action. While it doesn't lend any insight into what "Venomverse" will be, Christopher Hastings and Irene Strychalski craft a bubbly issue that never feels too dramatic nor too childish. They manage to successfully answer the question no one's ever asked: What would happen if you take Gwenpool and mix her with Venom? Read Full Review

The Fandom Post - Alex Henning
Jul 19, 2017The description of the book says she discovers something that leads into the bigVenomverse event, but the one big discovery in here makes little real sense. Something about the Matt Murdoch she was courting not being the “real” one, but it's not explained well at all. This is a book that works well for Gwenpool fans, but may not be for you if you're not. It does well with the humor and Gwen in awkward situations, but falls flat when it comes to the look and the feel. Pick it up if you're a Gwenpool fan or if you just need to have all theEdge Of Venomverse issues. Read Full Review
