In its third issue, Captain Marvel slows the plot down to make sure every reader understands both Carol's awesomeness and the scope of the challenge she faces. It's beautifully drawn and strongly written. It proves that this creative team can make Carol's story compelling without constant plot twists. Revealing backstory and explaining whats going on on Roosevelt Island was necessary, but adding more action wouldve helped move this story along. The strong contributions from the art team were able to make up for what felt lacking, and this wasnt a bad issue, but compared to the previous two it felt the most drawn out. Read Full Review

I love this story. Thompson prove once again she can write interesting characters and situation. Cover - Nice and related. At first I see a DC bombshell kind of work ^^ 2/2 Story - Well done. I love all the character utilisation. Hazmat make me smile about the fact there will be one and only Jen ^^ I even't care for Echo that I was never interested in. I wonder if the fact both Hazmat and She Hulk don't have a power is because Nuclear Man supress Radiation ??? 3/ Arts - Very nice layout and panels. It's another strength of this ongoing. I hope Carnero will stay around more than Caseli on WCA. 3/3 Feeling - Love it. Finally I think someone find a interesting way to use Carol. But I'm afraid that like WCA, the reader won't follow. Pleas e try it. Because I don't want to see another title I love been stop. Thanks ! 2/2 more

I'm back into this after issue two. I guess the last issue was hindered by too much set up, but I really liked the tone of this issue. And that cliffhanger makes me really excited for the next issue, given Rogue and Carol's history.
