Jul 29, 2020X-fans looking for an action-packed story with many answers won't find that here this week. Nevertheless, they will find this cleverly witty and authentically charming story that's incredibly captivating from start to finish. It's a pretty busy issue with many moving parts to explore as the series unfolds and I for one am all in! Read Full Review

Jul 29, 2020Overall, a solid issue of Cable for issue #2. While I may be for this younger Cable, I do think that they need to do a bit more with the story in the next issue to assure us that this book is worth our investment for more than the first arc. Read Full Review

Jul 29, 2020Putting us in the shoes of the new son of Scott Summers, the series takes the approach of throwing in everything and the kitchen sink into the works, but definitely creates a worthwhile story in doing so. Read Full Review

Another fun issue. The Stepford Cuckoos stole the show on this one. I'm really enjoying the Summers' family dynamic and Emma is a delight to read as always. The Spaceknights are cool but I'll admit I'm more interested in the kidnapping story.

Crazy how i loved the dialogue and between ALL the characters in this issue. Phil's art is also wonderful. Hope we see this relationship in the next issues.

The pacing was off, but the issue was very funny and the art was great, so I'm still on board.

It's not bad. Fun little moments with a nice hook at the end. The art from Noto keeps me coming back.

Kinda funny... seriously good art. I guess I have a soft spot for Cable because I do enjoy this title although it just barely gets by being OK.

The script is a typical Gerry Duggan joint: Solid prose, but the total amount of plot development comes up short. The art disappoints me -- the bones are impeccable but the finish is awfully rough.

I am reading this book for the art let's be honest. The only exciting story stuff is in the return of adult Cable. I'll keep buying it though.
