I feel this story was only written to promote the Infamous Iron Man and Unstoppable Wasp titles. It had some good character moments. Waid can write the hell out of any character. I also like the voice Whitley gives to the Wasp. It was a little bit of a bait and switch if you ask me, but I had fun. Read Full Review

Overall this book seemed more geared towards the teenage girl market than a 40-year old Avengers fan like myself. The humor and the story would have left my 12-year old niece smiling ear to ear. I don't mind a slightly whimsical story every so often, but this just didn't do it for me. Dr. Doom working with the Avengers and this is the best you can do. Come on Marvel, you're better than this. Might be my favourite issue of Waid's Avengers so far. The humour really helps the book. I loved the interactions between Victor and Nadia.

This is the best issue of "The Avengers" yet, and I liked the Kang arc. I really enjoyed Victor Von Doom here, and was surprised to see Nadia go all fangirl over him. It added some fun to the story though (Victor and Nadia sipping tea). It's pretty charming. Phil Noto is great here, as usual. Looking forward to more Victor in my Avengers!

Can we keep Phil Noto???? PLEASE!!! I love his art for this book. Way better than Del Mundo's wacko art. The story was very simple. But I really do like what is coming.

A self contained issue, which is a good thing. I don’t like Noto’s art and I just feel like Nadia is a generic character but nothing extremely bad about this issue

Nadia's nerd-crush Dr. Doom enlists her to help bust up evil witchcraft at the Sue Storm Camp for Girls' Leadership. If this had been published as an Unstoppable Wasp one-shot and given a proper inker to finish the linework, it would be an epic comic. The Avengers were crowbarred into the story and come off as highly unnecessary. The heavy colors overwhelm a lot of the detail in Phil Noto's mostly-excellent art. These pages look like they were released with a vital "black linework" Photoshop layer accidentally turned off. As a compromise between "superb Wasp comic" and "disappointing Avengers comic in desperate need of an inker," I'm just gonna call it a very "meh" mess.
