Avengers #24

This was one awesome issue. I loved this story and it reminded me a lot of some of my favorite Silver Age Avengers stories. I loved that I could jump right in to this issue and completely understand what was going on. Norman Osborn getting super-powers working incredibly well, and I loved the ending of this issue and story arc. The only real problem I had was that I felt Acuna's work, while extremely awesome, wasn't a great fit for the Avengers. I highly recommend this issue though. It was tons of fun. Read Full Review

All of that said, it only makes it more disappointing that these pieces did not amount to a more challenging and impactful conflict for the Avengers. A police officer has to undergo investigation if they fire their gun, so it seems appropriate for the Avengers to have to undergo something similar. Both a hero and a villain have called them out for their misdeeds, yet the team has yet to suffer any consequences. What will it take? Another superhero Civil War? As exciting as that might sound, I certainly hope not. Read Full Review

That's about as much time as I plan on spending on this one. If I never see Norman Osborn again, it'll be too soon. That's how terribly Bendis has written both Osborn AND this story. To end this review on a positive, I'm going to say that I'm happy this storyline is over. Read Full Review

The summary always says a relationship will be taken to a new level but nothing ever happens in this issue. I heard about Hawkeye and Spider Woman before I read this series and I expected a lot more
