But Why Tho? - CJ
Oct 22, 2020Amazing Spider-Man #50.LR significantly raises the stakes of the "Last Remains" storyline, putting Peter Parker's allies in danger and hinting at a partnership with his deadliest enemy. The best Spider-Man stories are usually the ones where he beats impossible odds, and right now it looks like the deck is stacked against the friendly neighborhood web-slinger. Read Full Review

The Super Powered Fancast - Deron Generally
Oct 21, 2020Federico Vicentini does an excellent job contrasting both stories artistically. Peter's story is fast and kinetic and reflected in the art. Norman's story is quieter and character driven which is reflected in the detailed characters and camera angles. Read Full Review

It plays up the action well with slick visuals that are suited to the monsters as the subdued moody scenes with Norman to perfection. At the end of the day, there's a dark and disturbing Spider-Man story here -- you just need the patience to find it. Read Full Review

Comic Book Revolution - Kevin Lainez
Oct 22, 2020Outside of the final few pages Amazing Spider-Man #50.LR is nothing more than a director's cut to the first chapter of "Last Remains." The way this entire issue is executed does make you question why Nick Spencer couldn't include some of these moments in the oversized anniversary issue that was Amazing Spider-Man #50. Hopefully these tie-in comics don't create an excuse for Spencer to leave out key plot details in the main story of "Last Remains." Read Full Review
