Jun 17, 2026The Trillion Dollar Kid #1 is a fantastic introduction to a new story that connects to the world of Ghost Machine. If you’ve been enjoying other stories from their Family Odyssey collection, you’ll definitely have a Leonardo DiCaprio moment or two. However, if you haven’t, you won’t be lost in the least bit. Nevertheless, I have a feeling it will be a hell of a lot more fun to jump into it all. Read Full Review

Jun 17, 2026It’s not all fun and games as Tommy has a secret he’s keeping from the rest of the world, which Johns and Tomasi sets up very well. To solve the mystery, he’ll need the help of the other Unbelievables. This was a very strong debut issue with a tremendous hook. With this creative team, it shouldn’t be a shock that The Trillion Dollar Kid already seems like a safe bet to add to your monthly pull-list. Read Full Review

Jun 17, 2026The Trillion Dollar Kid #1 is good kickoff to this series and new shared universe. The introduction to the glue that holds this universe together gives the reader a real sense of where the series and universe are headed. I for one am very interested in seeing where this series goes, as well as the whole Unbelievables Universe. This is a book, series, and universe that the whole family can enjoy. Give this series a try and grab a copy of issue one at the LCS this week. Read Full Review

Jun 16, 2026The Trillion Dollar Kid #1 succeeds by focusing on character first. Geoff Johns and Peter J. Tomasi introduce Tommy as an inventive, lonely teenager whose wealth is far less interesting than his desire for connection and discovery. While the issue occasionally feels more concerned with establishing pieces on the board than delivering immediate thrills, the charm of its lead and the vibrant artwork from Stefano Simeone make it an easy read. By the final pages, Tommy's journey feels like a doorway into something much larger, giving Ghost Machine a fresh perspective character who is easy to root for and well worth following into the coming crossover. COMICON - Olly MacNamee
Jun 17, 2026The Trillion Dollar Kid #1 follows the adventures of teen trillionaire, Tommy Noble Townsend III, as he bring joy to his town through philanthropic deeds like building a rollercoaster to get you to school. A fun, frothy comic that feels like an animation in the making thanks to the art of Stefano Simeone. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff
Jun 18, 2026Grant Morrison once said that superheroes are who we think we could all be if we got it together to stop being jerks to each other. Tommy is the trillionaire that we all wish was actually out there. If there HAVE to be people with that kind of wealth, then they should be endlessly interesting and truly interested in making other people happy. Kind of a cross between Ferris Beuller, Parker Lewis, Tony Stark and everyone who has ever had occasion to be truly nice to somebody else in the endless nightmare parade of bad comedy that we mistakenly call “the real world.” Read Full Review

Thomas Noble Townsend is the first billionaire (that is, the first person to have a million million) and he's only thirteen years old, thanks to a new formula for bandages from his parents' company.
Although he comes from a humble background, Thomas wants to make the world happy with his projects and daring ideas. However, his parents were hiding the existence of exceptional beings they called THE UNBELIEVABLES.
Thomas doesn't yet understand that he can never make everyone happy.
But Thomas's parents and sister mysteriously disappear, and the only clue may lie with one of those exceptional beings they were investigating.
Thomas lives in a world of technology far ahead of its time, yet despite all more+ Like • Comment -

A good start for a new title from the only company that constantly puts out quality material.Looking forward to the next issue.

Because of the not so original idea, it doesn't get a top score. But this is a really good comic book with a lot of potential fun. I'm curious to see how this is going to be different.
Amazing art btw -
