The Sacrificers #18

It DOES appear as though the 19th issue is going to follow close on the heels of the 18th. Its going to e interesting to see how Remender and company draw this particular 6-issue story to a close as so much has already happened in the first half. So much time has already passed. THE SACRIFICERS #18 asks you to sit in discomfort and watch a good person discover she's become the machine she meant to destroy. There are no villains here, no easy targets, just people making impossible choices in a world that punishes decency as readily as cruelty. If you want a comic that feeds your brain while it breaks your heart, that uses visual storytelling to explore why systems persist even when they're corrupt, then this issue earns the price of entry. But if you're looking for a fun break or a hero's triumph, you're reading the wrong book. I really don't like the twist this took, I feel like the entire run up this point has been for nothing. We followed pigeon's rise only to have him basically destroy the world?
