Every issue gets us closer to why this incredibly sweet and loving family had to flee to a time centuries before their own. This story continues to be a relatable tale of a family just trying to do their best, while being an intense action sci-fi at the same time. Plot Roland discovers that Raina's eye is in Kirby's nest, so he traps it and returns it to its suspended animation liquid. But for 24 hours, Raina has spied on the family and analyzed every element that might allow her to guess what year the Rocketfellers are hiding in. Rae and Kirby are infected with the eye's nanotechnology and manage to extract it from Rae and Kirby. However, this worm-like worm traps their neighbor Tony. The whole family—Roland, Rodney, Rae, Rachel, Richie, and Rex—manage to separate Tony from this organic substance, all working together as a family. Luckily for the Rocketfellers, Tony is a witness under protection and believes they are too, so he didn't discover they're from another era; he was confused by his own condition. Roland owes his family an explanation regarding Raina's eye. An excellent conclusion to this first arc, where the family dynamics, combined with science fiction elements, are super entertaining and suspenseful. Art Full of detail and many textures that create an interesting and mesmerizing organic effect, all of this creates a futuristic and somewhat terrifying tone. Summary The mysterious eye that Roland has been investigating for some time is close to revealing the year in which it is hidden. Exciting and dizzying conclusion to the first volume more
