Lyles Movie Files - Jeffrey Lyles
Aug 20, 2025Artist Ryan Ottley is delivering some epically chaotic fight scenes although this issue didn't call for much bloodshed. Ottley's art is so lively and animated that it's clear the intentional effort to craft one of the best-looking comics on the stands today. Another incredibly fun issue in what's been an incredibly fun series. The only reason this isn't a 10 for me was how the conflict in this issue was so conveniently and abruptly wrapped up, heh. It fits the tone and it was pretty hilarious so only a .5 point deduction. The art is fantastic and the writing is great. Each character has a very distinct voice and fun personality. I hope this gets made into an animated show too (though preferably with a different animation studio than Invincible.)
