This second issue picks up where the first left off. We get to see the aftermath of the first killer being taken out from the perspective of the elite. At the same time the suspense builds as the other killers close in on the town, and how the townspeople react as they become aware something strange is afoot. Exquisite Corpses #1 was so epic in concept and execution that it's normal that Exquisite Corpses #2 has a little bit of a sophomore slump. However, James Tynion IV, Michael Walsh, Mariana Ignazzi, and Jordie Bellaire have fun with a little sexy killer versus creepy killer as well as showing hopeless it is for the townsfolk of Oak Valley. I am absolutely enjoying this story so far.The first issue was a slow burn with lots of characters introduced.This issue carries on the same great story with decent artwork.

This is a significant drop from the previous issue. We don't even see the main Soldier contestant. The Congressional killer is who we are focused on as well as the Gamer Kid going trick or treating. I'm not sure who the woman was that was in the dealership. I do like the "Side Bets" against the main matriarch. For the most part there is no significance to the story for this issue.
