    Deep Cuts #1 is an excellent intro that infuses a tangible tempo into the story of a young man finding his way in the world. The books focus on how the music exists on the page, and how it changes based on character, location, and intention creates a fascinating juxtaposition of sound. The creative team utilizes their craft to ensure the music plays to the story, and vice versa, making it an integral part of the story that many music-themed books lack.
