From what was an amazing run to this, this new volume is a drag of a story facing pacing issues. The series plays out more as a drama and police procedural than anything else delivering a drab experience that's a struggle to enjoy beyond playing spot the bot. While it's clear Ruckley's is playing long game with the series, his approach is making the issues feel a bit repetitive as nothing totally new has been revealed about the plot or the characters to a large degree yet, making it feel like Transformershasn't progressed very far from its first issue. The art from the team at least improves the issue, but the lack of momentum in the plot drags it down a lot. Hopefully the series will start picking up soon and feel less repetitive. Cyclonus is intriguing, I wonder what his deal is now. We get some factional conflict in this issue, let's ramp it up people, before I get old.
