With double the page count, writer Tom Waltz delivers a story with two very different, but satisfying, halves. Artists Smith, Santolouco, Johnson, and Couceiro draw the issue well, but fail to elevate it. Despite a terminally slow second half, TMNT #75 does bring the action and drama such a finale deserves. There is some good dialogue, a lot of great art, and, of course, the Turtles themselves at their best. Writers Kevin Eastman, Bobby Curnow, and Tom Waltz do some great work here. I can recommend it, even if the $7.99 price tag makes it a daunting purchase. If youre really into the Turtles, then it is worth the high price though. Read Full Review

Ultimately then, while its fun to take a peek at a larger universe filled with aliens, talking trees, humanoid triceratops warriors and genocidal pink blobs, it does feel like IDWs TMNT ongoing series is a book that flows a lot more smoothly when it keeps its feet on the ground. A fun diversion then, and one that leaves a lot of interesting unanswered questions, but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the Turtles getting back on terra firma in the weeks and months to come. As exciting as it is to see the flagship TMNT comic hit a new milestone and undergo some significant status quo changes, the execution of this issue leaves a lot to be desired. TMNT #75 is a very disjointed read, both visually and in terms of subject matter. Whatever urgency is established early on is drained away in the abrupt transition from space warfare to courtroom drama. At this point, it'll be a relief to leave Dimension X behind for a while and see the Turtles return home. Read Full Review

TMNT comes full circle to its original Daredevil comic ispiration by giving us a comic book court scene. The dialogue drags at times but I'm actually more frustrated with what terrible cross examiners these layers are. That's the REAL travesty! I guess I'll cut honeycutt a break since he's not actually a lawyer. I'm with Leatherhead and his reaction to the verdict in this case. The king turns out to be typical world leader, going easy on the war criminal because he's worried about the possible implications regarding his own crimes. Disgraceful.

DAMN THESE MOFOS NEVER SHUT UP...TOM WALTZ NEEDS TO LEARN A THING OR TWO ABOUT EDITING OUT EVERY SINGLE IDEA HE HAS...ART IS MESSY WHEN WE ARE IN SPACE BUT IT MATCHES HOW CONFUSING THIS WHOLE 3 ISSUE ARC IS..OTHER THAN THOSE SPACE SCENES I DID ENJOY THE ARTWORK A LOT. TURTLE HEADS ARE GOING TO ENJOY LEOS SABER SWORDS AS WELL AS SEEING THE TMNT IN SPACE UNIFORMS.

the art in this issue is a disjointed mess!!!! the first eight pages of art are dull and flat. not very exciting to look at!! then we go to Mateus Santolouco's art which is very dynamic and very well drawn. then we jump back to art that looks like the artist was given an extremely short deadline to finish. the coloring doesn't do the art any favors. it's too light and pastel. very very lifeless color. there is so much useless dialog in this issue. i understand this is supposed to be a courtroom drama, but this really does NOT make for a fun comic to read! NO THANKS!!! the whole thing felt like a big dragged out diversion to catch readers off guard for the ending.
i wouldn't have been so pist had IDW not wasted $7.99 of my m oney to do so. they keep this $#@& up and they'll never actually get to make it to issue #100. more
