Even with City Fall seeming to reach the climax point, the cliffhanger this month suggests that this story is only going to get bigger and more explosive as it continues hurling towards the finish line. I can't wait to see what the new characters introduced here will add to the picture. Read Full Review

fight scenes, ninjutsu and pizza! This book introduces the reader to a new chapter in the lives of our favourite turtles, as they come face to face with their biggest threat thus far. Overall, TMNT #27 is the beginning of the end to City Fall. Where everything shakes out in the end remains to be seen. Hopefully next issue there is a battle be Shredder and Splinter. The story has been at such a high level hopefully the conclusion lives up to the story so far. Read Full Review

With all of the action and drama of this issue, its hard not to get swept away in it all. This sense of peril also tends to cover up some flaws in the writing. Its easy to ignore these shortcomings, but that may not always be the case. That being said, City Fall is still mindless entertainment that is quite enjoyable. Read Full Review

'City Fall' continues its streak of being spectacular. As a penultimate issue, there's a whole lot of story building, but what's truly great is we're not hit with a cliffhanger right when everything's about to go down. Instead, Waltz and everyone else involved make the smart decision to tease us with some epic action while still saving all of the big showdowns and conflicts for the finale. Oh, and that cliffhanger? It's sure to get you pumped. Bring on the conclusion! Read Full Review
