Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #26

The pace slows down a bit when we're with the "good" turtles and understandably so. This allows the storyline to expand even more and with all of these factors shuffling around, you can really feel the conflict is reaching a boiling point. Meanwhile, the slower pacing with some individuals is countered by some legitimately exhilarating action scenes that you simply cannot miss. Dark Leo, Splinter, Shredder... they all get some time to show off how talented they really are and it's downright awesome. Overall if you call yourself a turtles fan then read. Start reading this series as it will not let you down. Month to month IDW's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series can only deliver. Things are certainly looking bleak for our heroes as Leonardo (still struggling a bit against Kitsune‘s brainwashing) continues to help Shredder with his master plan. However, it appears Karai (perhaps with the assistance of Alopex) may have plans of her own. Worth a look. Read Full Review

I think I was most surprised by Splinter here. This iteration has a flawed splinter who is not so perfect and I love it. Again with the strong dialogue that breathes life and individuality as well as a comforting familiarity Into these turtles.
