If you are a fan of action and fight scenes you will enjoy Wonder Woman #83. The whole issue is one big battle scene between Diana and Cheetah. It will be interesting to see what role The Silencer plays in the rest of the story if any at all. This issue was not as comprehensive as the preceding few have been and, hopefully, the team can get back on track in the next one. With the big arrival on the final page, things look like they will start to pick up which gives us some hope. Read Full Review

The one thing Orlando definitely gets right is his characterization of Diana " she's having a good week overall " but she's stuck in a story that doesn't quite live up to her potential. The cliffhanger introduces a major new player, so I'm hoping this run picks up as Orlando gets more into his own storyarc. Read Full Review

In an action-packed installment, Wonder Woman #83 (DC Comics) continues the reign of terror brought on by the supervillainess known as The Cheetah. In the narrative, captures the power struggle within Wonder Woman, who has been stripped of her identity, losing both her lasso and tiara, to a vengeful Dr. Barbara Ann Minerva. It’s important to note that Wonder Woman wants to defeat Cheetah; not kill her. Though Barbara has humiliated her, Wonder Wonder still has faith in Cheetah’s humanity and tries so hard to save her. The second part of the epic narrative does a fantastic job setting up the epic battle between the protagonist and antagonist.

It was nice to see Silencer appear, but in all honesty, she appeared out of nowhere. Within this fight, Wonder Woman was in between the two which never really made sense and would go back and forth between the pair. The artwork was strong though.

Prelude: One critical review giving it 2/10 and no user reviews as of writing. Well this should be fun. The Good: Nothing. The Bad: It is basic with cliche dialogue. The art likewise is basic. Why does Silencer need to be in this? Also, doesn't make any sense considering her story. It's boring as hell. Conclusion: Ok, it's bad but let's establish how bad. By being boring and offensive to Silencer and Cheetah's characters, I'll be kind and let it off with a 3.

I was glad to see Silencer popping up again, but I feel the writer didn't actually read her book. She's written very out of character, with different abilities and a much harsher, more heartless attitude. The Silencer from her own book and Wonder Woman would probably get on great, but here they get in each other's way for no real reason. The issue is one long fight scene, and not a very interesting one at that.
