I love this issue. It's a great continuation. Mariko Tamaki raised the stakes with engaging revelations. The art is solid and I like how much of struggle this fight is for Wonder Woman. It's difficult when you can't trust your own eyes. It's a great book. Read Full Review

Carlo Barberi brings a beautiful action/adventure style to the art in this issue. There are some great dramatic camera angles throughout the issue and there is an energy to the progression of the panels. The art is vibrant and powerful. A great looking issue. Read Full Review

With the return of Maxwell Lord, it seemed too easy to make him the architect of Dianas troubles as people start getting pushed to see nightmare scenarios playing out.Tamaki reveals the real villain and its a great twist as Wonder Woman cant trust what shes seeing. Read Full Review

Silliness with a malicious app aside, this is an enjoyable issue that explores the passions and intentions of superheroing in a unique light. Wonder Woman's distinctive personality is thrown into a conflict that feels fresh even if it's nothing she hasn't handled before in one way or another. Tamaki's brilliance falters a bit, but she's definitely leading to something that could stand as one of the better-executed Wonder Woman stories in the character's 75+ years of existence.  Read Full Review

Wonder Woman #761 isn't a bad issue.  We get some solid motivation from Maxwell Lord and big answers to what has been going on.  The problem is, those big answers make the story feel smaller, and while I am still enjoying this first arc by Mariko Tamaki, I need a bit more to recommend it thoroughly. Wonder Woman #761 was another solid chapter for Mariko Tamaki's first storyline in this series. The story is moving at a good pace that keeps the story moving forward. The way Maxwell Lord is brought into the story and Wonder Woman's reaction added greater interest in how things will turn out when all is said and done. Read Full Review

It's just refreshing to see Wonder Woman get a good ongoing again. Wonder Woman Dead Earth was the only release for wonder woman fans recently, it's so nice to be excited to read Wonder Woman again

A great arc. I dig its art and the characters involved, also the situations happening. It will be really interesting to know that if it's all illusion or real, because there's a creeping vibe.

Another strong followup in what Tamaki has set up, a different direction previous writers did not or would not take. Wonder Woman can act like a stubborn puppy, but its cute. Tamaki and Barberi plays excellently with the illusions WW and civilians are dealing with, making them see things that aren't really there. We also are revealed to how these illusions are actually happening and at least an attempt to understand the crux of the situation. A problem is the art. Janin wasn't my favorite artist, but the change in art tonally kind of disturbed the flow from the last 2 issues to this one. Barberi is not a bad artist, I actually really like him, but swapping from Janin to Barberi was not handled with the best care. I still enjoyed Barberi art for what it is worth, although his pencil on certain frames of Wonder Woman need work. Best Part is the dialogue between Maxwell Lord and Wonder Woman. These two bitterly hate each other, but you already know that are going to be forced to work with each other, and its a " sit down and pop out some popcorn " kinda vibe. I just like Lord as a villain and a hero, and this is blending both of those together. Oh yeah, the ending, kinda obvious, but it still is a nice reveal. The last two issues set up the arc and dived into the new challenges Diana has to meet, but this issue stands on its revelations. This arc may not be super original or crazy good, but it most certainly an upgrade from the previous arcs we have had on Wonder Woman. more
