I haven't loved this story but this is an excellent conclusion. The fight between Wonder Woman and Phantom Stranger is thrilling. And, as always, Orlando writes Diana perfectly. Combined with art that I adore, this is a strong outing. Read Full Review

Steve Orlando rebounds from the crazy, out-of-nowhere cliffhanger of the last issue to get back to what he does best, give fans a Wonder Woman who wins the day with love and compassion.  Now that is a tune we can all dance to, especially if Issac is serving up the cocktails! Read Full Review

Lupacchino keeps the physical end of the action moving across the page. There's a percussive kinetic feel to Lupacchino's action. The action's overall layout manages to keep the more substantial bits of drama moving along without any breaks. Read Full Review

Steve Orlando's Wonder Woman run comes to a close this issue " aside from an annual epilogue in a few months " and what a long strange trip it's been. He packs months worth of story and twists into one issue, but the execution is a mixed bag. Read Full Review

Wonder Woman has always lacked a deep rogue gallery and Warmaster had potential to be a credible, long-term threat so redeeming her over the course of one quick arc somewhat negates its impact especially considering the Four Horsewomen could have been a semi-regular group facing off with Diana. The thing is this payoff isn't so wholly out of character for Wonder Woman that it doesn't read true, but more that Orlando created an organic contribution to the series that could have stayed long after his departure. Wonder Woman's victory over the Phantom Stranger also inspires larger changes as a passionate Diana is able to convince her mother to embrace the outside world and the women who need their help and guidance by creating an Amazon Embassy. If Wonder Woman #758 was judge only on the last eleven pages it would've been a fantastic issue. Unfortunately, the first half of Wonder Woman #758, which involved a battle between Wonder Woman and Phantom Stranger, was a big swing and a miss. Luckily the second half of this issue was strong enough to lift up the entire story. The final few pages specifically effectively sets up a future filled with potential for the Wonder Woman series for Mariko Tamaki and other writers to follow-up on. Read Full Review
