DC Comics News - Sean Blumenshine

This is a really fun issue. It's a familiar premise but executed well. I like seeing Diana go to outer space and fight on an alien world. It's a fun break and I like the self contained nature. My issues are minor and don't take away from my enjoyment that much. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff

A one-shot story shoots across the page with little glimpses of ongoing story around the edges. Still, its a bit of a rush for a story centering around emotional drama and being true to oneself and history. Had this been a lighter story, it might have been more at home with the brisk pacing. Covering the kind of deep emotional ground it does, an issue like this cant help but feel rushed. Read Full Review

Overall, entertaining, and hopefully Orlando's remaining issues (whenever they come out) will bring a strong finish to the Four Horsemen story. Read Full Review

Wonder Woman #754 was a bit of a disappointment. As I stated previously, the threat of Ultraa never felt legitimate. There was never a feeling that Diana and Princess Maxima may fail, in fact, there wasn't even a struggle to accomplish their goal. The overlapping story of the Four Horsemen has been interesting to follow in the issues. I am looking forward to seeing what Orlando does with them in future issues. O also hope that the disappointment on this issue is a one-off. Read Full Review

It's an enjoyable enough of a read, it just feels odd and out of place and a bit like the reader is being preached at rather than entertained. Read Full Review

Comic Book Revolution - Kevin Lainez

    Mar 26, 2020

Wonder Woman #754 has big aspirations with Diana racing off to help Princess Maxima with a major conflict on Almerac. That adventure turns out to be just a fun one-and-done deal rather than the epic the beginning of the issue leads you to believe. Still, Steve Orlando's writing continues to be on point that even this type of filler story turns out to be enjoyable enough. Read Full Review

Exceedingly poor art further hampers an ill-conceived filler issue in Wonder Woman #754. Suitable for completists only; all other comers would do well to save their money and time. Read Full Review
