WildC.A.T.s #2 improves on the first issue giving a solid villain for the team to go against and delivering surprises. This is a comic that delivers action but also the ramification of those actions. It takes what worked well with the original and updates things a bit with the team finally fitting in nicely with the DC Universe and delivering a bit more personality beyond how cool they look when they do battle. WildCATS #2 is a rocket-powered demolition derby of chaotic antiheroes and turbulent maneuvering by their diminutive overlord. Everything proudly feels like it's set for self-destruct, and I'm here for the carnage, the character development, the jokes, and just finding out what the heck Halo and the Court think they're doing. This team is having fun with this book, and they're knocking it out of the park. Shimmy some room in your bin for the CATS and enjoy the slow explosion. Read Full Review

Rosenberg and Segovia are back with the crew, and not only do they have to deal with being in Green Arrows home turf, but also the Court of Owls, and their Talons. Not exactly sure what the actual mission statement is, but my nostalgic kid insists on me following through. Rosenbergs still developing the crew, and not everyones voice is as distinct as they should be, but Segovias knocking it out of the park. Read Full Review

Bits and Pieces:WildC.A.T.s #2 should aptly be re-titled to Random: The Comic. Rosenberg cobbled together a collection of scenes without any plot or transitions. Nothing is set up, characters act without rhyme or reason, and whole scenes stop without finishing before the comic moves on to something else. Read Full Review

Reviving one of Wildstorm's original titles in the DC Universe wouldn't be easy under any circumstances, but this issue is so focused on proving everything we know wrong that it doesn't realize none of it makes a lick of sense. Read Full Review

As long as Rosenberg doesn't overload it with characters and plot threads (like Task Force X) it's a fine action book with decent art by Segovia. Also pls don't turn this into Grifter's solo. To me he is the least interesting character here.
