Much like he did with Heartless in Nightwing, Taylor probably needs to create some new villains and different threats for the Titans. Trigon feels played out and the Amanda Waller arc is on a slow burn until Absolute Power. Titans #9 is all setup, foreshadowing, and moving players in place for whatever comes next, but the lack of plot movement gets shortchanged in the process. Still, the potential is intriguing, and except for a ridiculous chest-puffing contest between Trigon and Waller, the character interactions serve the setup well. Read Full Review

Like most Tom Taylor books has gotten how this all began. In the first issue, the Flash was killed and went back in time to warn himself. I don't think that he ever resolved that story. IN the meantime, we have this story about Raven turning evil and becoming something darker. The pace of this story is good. I just hope he doesn't abbandon it, like he does the others. Another solid issue. I think this storyline has potential and I'm looking forward to seeing it play out. I don't really have that much to say, honestly. I am glad to see Meyer as the ongoing series artist, as I think he's proved to be a pretty good pick already.
