Yet for a book that I only picked up for the connection to the Watchmen (go check out Rebirth #1) I have to say that I have been absolutely blown away by the quality of the book, in both the strong and humorous at times writing and some of the best art panel by panel, page by page that DC produces. It almost makes me think the DC that puts this quality of book on the rack, cannot really be the same Dc that put out Birds of Prey, can it? Read Full Review

Overall Titans is an enjoyable book, and even if it is not a pinnacle of the Rebirth line up, it is most certainly a lot better entry than any of the New 52 books. Always a plus. Read Full Review

Titans has a lot going on just like we've seen before and it continues to feel like a very 90's book to me in some good ways. I love the banter and jokes that crop up, I love that we're still dealing with the HIVE story line 14 issues into it and that it's continuing to go in twisty directions, and I love that we're seeing these guys deal with all sorts of changes to their lives and how it impacts each other – especially since Wally returned. Booth and Rapmund continue to turn in some really great material that just feels very intense and dynamic, full of energy in all the right ways, and this issue is no exception. I thought Titans #14 was a good read and it's quite enjoyable seeing the team fight amongst themselves while battling another threat. It's interesting to see all of these different events and revelations unfold within the team"and this is all without the revelation of who the traitor is yet! Dan Abnett gives it to us in this issue, and the entire team will definitely feel how deep this betrayal goes. I'm looking forward to reading the next issue! Read Full Review

While I'll always love what comes out of the art team on this book, the story is getting a bit old to me and just seems like forced drama for the sake of forced drama.  Yeah, there's an interesting twist at the end that I can't wait to find out more about, but the majority of this issue just felt like a retread of things we've read about already. This chapter of Titans continues a disappointing trend downward, and that's a shame considering Abnett has set each character up with an incredible personal arc. Unfortunately, over the past three months, he's slowly shifted the book from one full of complex relationships to one that feels like a battle between the characters to determine which of our heroes has the worst, most dramatic life at the moment. Titans #14 failed to deliver an chapter that built further interest in what comes next for the team. For all the intriguing sub-plots Dan Abnett has created all the forced romantic drama has enveloped the series and is keeping Titans from reaching it's full potential. That's an unfortunate outcome given that Titans #14 finally provided the spotlight Tempest needed but is dragged down by all the worsts aspects of the Titans series. Read Full Review

Much like the title of the story, things are starting to fall apart for the Titans, with this arc being a complete deconstruction of who they are and where loyalties lie.

Great pace and characterization by Abnett, even though the story is becoming rather soap opera-like (not that I mind that, as the pace is still being kept). The downside here is Booth's art, as usual.

The love triangle is a waste if page space, Garth comes off like a real asshole, and if Lilith was removed from this book altogether no one would complain. After the boring Lazerus Contract arc I just want to get to some interesting story. Fantastic art though.
