Jul 12, 2017TITANS #13 is a near perfect issue. It expertly combines outstanding, action-packed visuals by V. Ken Marion with fantastic character development. Furthermore, Dan Abnett beautifully depicts the crumbling team dynamic in this issue. TITANS #13 is proof that Rebirth was a success. Read Full Review

Jul 12, 2017I've gotten spoiled with the bi-weekly release schedule for other DC titles. Titans continues to be so enjoyable the monthly wait seems way too long especially with this issue's cliffhanger. Read Full Review

Jul 12, 2017Wow, what a great issue! Everyone loves a little drama and this book has plenty of it. I love how Abnett is able to bring these super beings down to a normal playing field. Over and over again, I'm reminded that they are just people; something you can easily forget with the Justice League members. It's great that he can take carbon copies of their predecessors and make them so different. The art was beautiful, the story flowed smoothly, and the ending left you wanting more. A+ to the creative team on this one. Read Full Review

Jul 12, 2017While I was initially afraid that this issue was just going to be an extended fight scene and nothing else, in the end it turned out to be a story that really let us look into the minds of our heroes and see where they are as people in this series, not to mention a bunch of new developments coming our way in the future of this series. The art was great, the story was fun and we got to see our Titans kick a little ass so all in all this was a decent story that got me back on the Titans trolley. Read Full Review

Jul 12, 2017Titans #13 is a good read. This book had plenty of action and also a little teen drama as well. The story that's beginning to start between Donna, Roy and Wally should be interesting. Although this issue dealt with the fight to recover Karen's memories from H.I.V.E., and there are so many other side stories at play that Karen's problems almost take a backseat in your mind while you read. The cracks are starting to show amongst the Titans"just who exactly can repair them? Read Full Review

Jul 13, 2017Dan Abnett delivers yet another solid issue of Titans! There are so many moving parts within the story, and the creative team masterfully maneuvers those plots in ways to create a satisfying narrative that is equally entertaining! The sense that anything could happen doesn't hurt the book either! Read Full Review

Jul 14, 2017This issue made me think a lot about it all while I was reading your run of the mill action comic. With the good detailed art and the movement of the story, this was a great issue. Read Full Review

Jul 18, 2017Titans arc as a whole from the start of this run is one that's largely working well even if it feels like it's gone on for too long without enough to really feel like it has some weight to it. The character interactions are what's keeping me coming back as I like the older ones I know and am enjoying getting to know the newer ones. But it just feels like a book that needs to be on the biweekly schedule in order to make some progress as so much of each issue is given over to extended fight sequences. They're fun and they're old school in revealing plot progress points and character moments but I want a little more than just that. Read Full Review

Jul 16, 2017The art in this series has a bit of a nineties feel to it. Not a bad thing, just different. The Titans look a little like the 90s X-men comics. Which were beautiful, so although I dont like comparative reviews I will use that as my frame of reference describing the look of this comic. However Flash is pretty distinct. The artists really make it look like hes moving lightning quick. Read Full Review

Jul 14, 2017Hopefully this is only temporary, as Titans was a relatively solid book since the Rebirth started and once we move onto a different arc perhaps this will all be cleared up, but as it stands Titans #13 is the weakest issue in the series by far. Read Full Review

Comic Book Revolution - Kevin Lainez
Jul 15, 2017Titans #13 was an extremely mixed bag. When Dan Abnett focus on the Titans conflict with HIVE and the potential traitor on the team the comic is at it's best. Unfortunately the heavy focus on romantic sub-plots for every character except Nightwing hurt any positive character development Abnett is trying to deliver. As long as the romance is heavily focused on Titans will never be able to deliver on the potential it has as a strong team comic book. Read Full Review
