There aren't as many options for success or failure as there are in the books " this is more of a puzzle to find the one right solution " but it's an inventive concept that provides a lot more re-read value than your average comic and puts you into the shoes of your favorite heroes. A very enjoyable "Choose Your Own Adventure" style comic, making full use of the story structure and supported by excellent artwork. Worth reading as a one-shot, part of the ongoing narrative, or as an introduction to "The Terrifics." Read Full Review

The Terrifics #25 is a fun story with some interesting developments for future issues. While the choose-your-own-adventure story can be a bit "overwhelming" at times, overall, it is a fun little twist on the storytelling for this issue. It also makes the read feel a lot longer (plus it is an extra-sized issue). The art is tremendously well done, and the issue is just a delight to look at, in and of itself. Read Full Review

Choose your fate, choose your action, choose your destiny! This was the pitch, and this creative team delivered on it! The Terrifics #25 was the boldest story told in this series so far, and that is saying something considering everything this team has been through since the very first issue. It paid off at the end, and the whole plot was clever for the way that it took advantage of what transpired in the previous story arc. Read Full Review

Prelude: I've been looking forward to this issue of The Terrifics. Let's see how it goes. The Good: I love these alternate branch stories. Some really interesting paths. JLC!!!!!!! Really fun issue. Mora's art was great. Quite an interesting set-up for future stories. The Bad: Nothing. Conclusion: An amazing issue that uses the expanded space well. I always love these stories and #25 of The Terrifics knocked it out of the park.

Multiple choice books may not be as common as back in the day, which only makes this comic more special. It was a great idea to incorporate a branching story in the series, giving the reader some freedom and activ control over what's happening, or illusion of it, at least. And that's very much the reason why you SHOULD pick this book up - it's different, and offers different reading experience from usual comics. Even if in the end you follow w pre-destined path, you, yourself, take each step, you think about possible consequences of your choices, taking a direct part in the unraveling story. for fans of adventure games like Life Is Strange or The Walking Dead, this issue is a must pick. That's the closest you can get to comics being an a more
