While both stories in this issue aren't bad, some parts of each just seem to come off as a tad boring in the long run, even though I'm still interested in what they're talking about. Thankfully though, the art in both sections is great and the Batgirls part of our main Joker story was a real highlight for me as it looks like we're finally doing something interesting with the Court of Owls again. This continues to be fantastic! I love the writing style the story is being told with so much depth. The story isnt rushed and is developing in a fantastic way. I really like how the charecters individual personalities are on display too. Both stories are a joy to read. I'm really bummed tynion's run is ending the Batman book is by far my favorite book out right now and this one is up near the top as well

Is it just me, or is James Tynion IV better at writing Bat-titles not related to Batman? Because his Talon and Joker series so far isn't that bad.

If you're not counting his Detective Comics run from years ago. I attribute the problems with his Batman run due to executive meddling than anything else.

Well this answered a few questions about that Talon, he was taking his time and is a different breed. Also apparently, Gordon's going to be around for more content with some sources of some extra crime rinks. Finally, the return of a Pennyworth.

I'm starting to have flashbacks to the Joker War storyline where it seems like Tynion doesn't know how to continue the story and he's just stalling for time. I really, really hope I'm wrong but we're at the half of it and we have so very few answers.

I decided not to pick this one up. It's become a slow crawl, & DC is price gouging its customers at $6. It's just not worth it anymore.

This really wasn't a great issue of Tynion's Joker story, and Punchline was still incredibly bland.
