While it does face some issues in the characterization and plot structure, TEEN TITANS #23 is a very satisfying new issue for the series. Writer Adam Glass does a fantastic job giving readers a panoramic look at so many elements of this story in a well-paced and clear way, while artist Bernard Chang gives us a fantastic visual experience. Another impressive issue of the Teen Titans... another one, and I might think we've somehow teleported back to 2003.  The Titans haven't been this consistently good in what feels like forever!  If you're still on the fence... or have been scared off since The New-52, trust me when I say: it's safe to come home! VerdictAnother fun and action packed issue. It was great seeing Lady Vic again, she's another blast from the past. The shock of page two of the issue marries well with shocking events depicted inBatman #55, Nightwing #50 and Heroes In Crisis #1. The ongoing arc in this series, the characters and the consistently attention grabbing cliff hangers always leave me wanting more. The only (very) slight let down was the inconsistent art. Dark Knight News - John Hagmann

Teen Titans #23 was a solid issue that moved Glass' narrative forward. Also, it served to add a terrifying element of reckless abandon to The Other. Furthermore, tension continued to build between teammates. Different styles, levels of experience, and expertise brought the inherent conflict to the fore. Romantic relationships and the jealous feelings they induce add to the flavor of this newly minted team. Author, Adam Glass has left plenty of room to pursue multiple angles and directions in subsequent issues. Consequently, I am anxious to see how the storyline develops! Read Full Review

After shot Gordon, or that's what Lady Vic believes, The Titans finds her on guard down in some place, in that instant when Lady Vic is about to leave is when the young heroes act to capture her, however the Titans are too young to confront Lady Vic and their inexperience makes she escape, but not before causing some damage, the persecution continues until the Titans finds her hidden inside a building, but when our heroes get into to the room where Lady Vic hides something explosive is about to happen to the Teens Titans. This issue definitely felt like the kind of story that arrived at the right time for the book. It also helps that Glass introduces a threat that is takes some of the darkness of the Titans and focuses on the villain instead. I'm looking forward to seeing if Glass and Chang can maintain the newfound momentum come next issue. Read Full Review

So many Teen Titans volumes have meandered off after an initial promising start and this Rebirth volume was no different, but the hiatus and refresh seems to have given this title quite a jump start. The 1-2 punch of Glass and Chang is working really well and hopefully they can stay consistent. Read Full Review

Teen Titans isn't a terrible book, but it does need to decide which story it wants to tell, as well as the audience it's intended to target. I can't help but feel that Adam Glass and Bernard Chang had a grasp on this, but potentially faced interference after complaints from fans concerning darker tones in the beginning. It feels very similar to what's taking place with Nightwing this week. Here's my opinion on this" Stick to your plan. Even when I don't like an idea, I'd rather see that idea fulfilled than abandoned part of the way through the story. Why? Because more often than not, no matter how much I may dislike an idea, abandoning said idea before completing it tends to result in a product that is even worse" Teen Titans has potential, but DC/ Glass and Chang need to let it be what it could be if they want to reach that potential.
