Jan 09, 2018DC's cancellation of Superwoman removes a smart, scientific, never sexualized, female superhero from their lineup. But thanks to K. Perkins strong characterization of Lana Lang in this issue, and across her run on the series, a hero remains within the DC universe. Read Full Review

Comicosity - Chris Campbell
Jan 10, 2018In the end it may be the right time to end this run. With the rest of the DC universe taking off in a new direction with the aftereffects of the Metal story line Superwoman is a casualty of too many titles. Though Superwoman started and ran a little convoluted in the beginning and middle, it still has in the end developed into strong run both in art and story. This last issue quietly wraps up the run with enough tension to leave the reader wondering until the end. It ends on a hopeful high note and retains Lana Lang as the sweet girl from back home. Jan 21, 2018Despite losing her powers, Lana Lang ends her book as a stronger person, with a stronger relationship and stronger friendships, than she started out with. Thats a win, no matter what. Read Full Review

Jan 12, 2018Perkins' scenes move briskly along, and as much the way the issue ends is a fitting conclusion for the series, this is the kind of concept that could've worked for more than just one issue. Read Full Review

Jan 16, 2018Anyways, I am sad to see this book go. There was a lot of weird stuff to get through. But I saw tons of potential here. I read a lot of great character interactions. And I loved what Perkins did here with Lana and her gang of young heroes teaming with her. I hope DC puts Perkins on something else soon! Read Full Review

Jan 11, 2018Superwoman #18 closes the chapter on Lana's time as Superwoman on a clich note, which is ironic because this series started out with so many surprises. Read Full Review

Jan 10, 2018The final issue of Superwoman hits the ol' reset button on Lana Lang, and that's probably the nicest thing it could have done. Let's move past this series and speak of it no more. Read Full Review
