Suicide Squad #10 delivers everything I could ask of it. The tragic passing of Lawton, along with a high tension cliffhanger ending leaves me anticipating what comes next. Suicide Squad #10 had the odds stacked against it because of the title's unceremonious cancelation, but despite that, Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo still manage to deliver one hell of a fun read! Suicide Squad#10 is the penultimate issue in a series that went on a bit too long. I know this is the story Taylor says he wanted to tell, but I just feel like it is messy. One cant really understand where it was going or why it was going there. I never want to see a title cancelled after 11 issues, but I am not really going to miss this one when it is gone. I'm still gutted this is getting cancelled. It has been one of the most consistently great comics available each month. I hope Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo can repurpose the characters into a new take on the Justice League International or something similar.

Another satisfying issue of a comic that I am gutted to see cancelled. Maybe a little rushed around the edges, but that's imminent cancellation for you — and Taylor & Redondo do such amazing work that the pacing wobbles are hardly dealbreakers.

ZebraMan finally gets to say something in this entire run. It was cute. This issue honestly feels like it could've been kept within #10. It doesn't feel like it needs to be a separate issue. It literally picks up right when issue 10 left off. That's why i gave this issue & 9.0 rating

Listen...I'm not the kind of guy who can't let it slide when something silly, inconsistent, or even downright illogical happens in a comic, as long as it doesn't happen too often and the story/art are good enough to make up for it. Unfortunately, the silly, inconsistent, and illogical things in this series are starting to pile up, and the story isn't good enough to allow for me to continue to let it slide. The art is good, but that's just not enough. My problems with this issue are too many for me to want to get into all of them, so I'll just summarize by saying that this felt rushed, disjointed, and directionless, and it had a couple genuinely stupid moments. This run is on a disappointing trajectory as I was enjoying it somewhat for the f irst half. I find myself quite unable to enjoy it anymore. more
