Shazam#4 is a powerful finale. The most notable feeling regarding this issue is that it does not seem like the end of a series. Instead, it seems to bridge missing gaps in the story before starting another one. With the way that the last scene leaves the characters, a whole new adventure seems underway. Perhaps this was a great way of expanding Billy's storyline within Teen Titans Academy before returning him to the main series. Read Full Review

I'm not sure what Tim Sheridan knows about DC Comics, but from some of the lines in this book it doesn't appear like much and it's too bad that he decided to do a mini with this character because ultimately the series didn't do anything, explain anything and feels like a real wasted opportunity overall. The are is great and the idea of a de-aged Black Adam is fun but for how it's presented in this book everything just comes off as a big goof. Read Full Review

I understand this not being someone’s cup of tea but the 1 star reviews (heck, even the 4 star reviews) are absurd. There wasn’t anything to love about this issue but there sure as heck wasn’t anything to hate.

Not really a finale to anything, and I kind of loathe that it's all setting up stuff from those abysmal Future State stories, but it's not terribly written. Maybe Tim Sheridan will do better this time around, given he's written more comics now.

It's not bad, but at least it answered why Shazam's answers are going haywire. Just dont like how this is supposed to be set up in Teen Titans
