Sep 13, 2017Lobdell smartly reveals this change won't be permanent and it's a race against the clock for Bizarro to make the most of the genius time he has left. That's the right call as it allows readers to enjoy this change while knowing eventually the ride will be over. I'm very excited about the potential here and where Lobdell will take this storyline before resetting Bizarro back to normal. It's going to be a very fun ride until then. Read Full Review

Sep 12, 2017The darker realities of the team are kept at the edges for now, but the creative team has constructed new opportunities for character growth for issues to come. Read Full Review

Sep 13, 2017This issue continues a fantastic run of the Outlaws. The story is so well written, the dialogue between the characters is tremendous, and the artwork is absolutely stunning to look at. This is such a perfect team of people, creating a story about a perfect group of heroes. I truly look forward to every issue of the Outlaws that comes out, and I enjoy them all. I also really like this smart version of Bizarro a lot. I suppose I knew that it wasnt going to be forever, but deep down I was really hoping that we were going to see this version of Bizarro permanently. Pick up this issue in your weekly pull. It is splendidly entertaining. Read Full Review

Sep 13, 2017The artwork dips a bit with a substitute team, but it still works, and the story helps lift the whole affair higher. Bizarro may have experienced a change, but he is still the same lovable guy at his core, and Lobdell does an excellent job presenting both sides of that coin (and making them work together) here. Red Hood and the Outlaws remains one of the best books on the stands, and it continues to add new layers of richness to what was already a diverse and satisfying experience. Read Full Review

Sep 19, 2017100% worth it. The cover art matches the tone of this issue, and if you can tell it's a delightful ride. Lobdell creates one of my favorite versions of Jason Todd; he maintains this outlaw persona while keeping him a goofy Bat-kid at heart. It's been a few issues with the story of Artemis, and that was a dark ride. Jason and Artemis both faced their demons, but I could go for some more darkness in the following issues. Knowing Rebirth, they won't let me down in that area. Read Full Review

Sep 13, 2017We explore Smarty-Pants Bizarro in this issue and while it's fun at times, nothing really all that interesting happens in this issue because our hero is too smart to let bad things happen. The art is looks good and we get some new Outlaw toys for our group, but I can't wait for my big lovable dummy to return. Read Full Review

Sep 16, 2017Im in love with this series as a whole. Just a bit of a weaker issue but mostly because its an opener and first of its arc. I prefer the art of Dexter Soy, this one is good but hes been one of my favorite comic book artists so far. Read Full Review

Sep 20, 2017So it did that, yet I wouldnt call the issue a huge success because a lot of Bizarro's charm was his child like innocence and wonder even when his mind was trapped in a powerful super body. So I see Lobdell's attempt to switch things up but am not really a fan. Read Full Review
