This issue gives readers quite a history lesson in why these factions are facing off in the first place. The story by Wolfman, gives readers a story that could be in any Tales from the Crypt episode. The art by Mhan is stunning. Altogether, this ends with another impactful death, and hopefully, leads somewhere the readers want to go. Read Full Review

I look forward to next issue. Not because it's the end of the series or any sort of climactic battle between the forces of good and evil. Raven: Daughter of Darkness has put this character through the ringer, leading the charge against these monsters destined to destroy her just for living. The way the history has been revealed makes you question which side both factions are on. If the Shadow Riders are trying to protect mankind, does that mean the Arcanes are bad guys? The short answer is "no" because the Shadow Riders are advocating what amounts to ethnic cleansing, so that makes it pretty easy to understand what side they're on. Read Full Review

We've waited a year, and finally something almost interesting happens.  Actually, nothing happens... we just learn enough about the Shadow Riders' goal so that we almost care about what might eventually happen.  It's still pretty to look at. Read Full Review
