I have to hand it to Leah Williams, she has proven no detail is thrown away just for the fun of it. Although I'm a little sad to see the jacket and pant suit disappear, maybe her going back to a familiar look is a way of visually showing her coming to terms with some of her inner demons? Power Girl #17 is another issue of missed opportunities to turn things around. Leah Williams continues to make PG less and less important in her own title in favor of a growing ensemble. She's as lost as PG is in this book with forced characters and cringy dialogue. This series continues to be superficial, silly and utterly disappointing for fans of Power Girl. Fun issue, as usual. I'm really enjoying this run of Power Girl, giving her more of a supporting cast and exploring who she is and what separates her from other super...girls... Great stuff.

Can I ask if you’re new to the character, a longtime fan or somewhere in between? You say.”exploring who she is and what separates her,” and I’m wondering what your reference pont is. As a longtime fan she’s written like a completely different character.
