Rucka and Perkins have created a living, breathing series that stands as one of comics' finest responses to the Trump administration. Read Full Review

This is a gorgeous series, one of the best DC Comics has produced in the past ten years. And It's certainly left us wanting more Lois Lane. Read Full Review

All secrets are exposed inLois Lane #12, the quietly explosive series finale. If you haven't checked out this series before now, it's time to treat yourself to an adult, subversive comic that isn't afraid to treat its readers like they have intelligence! Read Full Review

As we reach the end of this year-long series, it's safe to say it's a good series " it's just not the good series anyone was expecting. It's less a Lois Lane spotlight than a Greg Rucka spotlight, as he brings together the key characters from every major DC run he's done for the last twenty years. Read Full Review

For those who stayed throughout the ride, this wraps everything up somewhat neatly but fails to make the case that Lois Lane deserves a stand-alone title. Read Full Review

I think this series went off the rails somewhere in the middle. And while this final issue is well-made, and has some entertaining moments, the train does not make it to the station. Read Full Review

Greg Rucka's name on a comic book usually means the reader will take a deep dive into the fabric of a story.Lois Lanestarted off with such a promise but ultimately revoked it, and unfortunately, the final chapter served as a prime example. Read Full Review

As a finale, this is fine. Everything comes together in a decently tied bow. There's great dialogue and banter; Rucka is a great writer. And the art is gorgeous. But the only thing the issue made me feel is relief that it's over. I don't have to talk about it anymore and that's not a good way to feel at the end of a series. Read Full Review

There's certainly a compelling and relevant Lois Lane comic to be written, but this maxi-series wasn't it. Read Full Review

For anyone looking to get any answers about pretty much anything that this book has brought up throughout its twelve issues better go look elsewhere because you won't find them here.  The art continues to be something I'm not a fan of, but it's still the highlight of this book where there just seems to have never been a complete idea for what this was supposed to be about and in the end, it's underwhelming all around. I know I haven't mentioned the art much in this review. As I said before, give Perkins a Question book or a martial artist book or even a war book. His gritty style would shine there. But I will gladly put this book in the rear view mirror. Read Full Review
