I find the art fantastic and am repeatingly reminded of other classic sci-fi imagery while flipping through the issue. I am genuinely upset over the beginning of this book, but my biggest concern is the seemingly sense of constant redirection each instalment takes. I find myself continuing to read the series out of morbid curiosity than through an actual investment to the plot. I do trust Joe Casey to eventually get to the heart of things, I just wish it would've happened already. Read Full Review

Kneel Before Zod #4 ends one phase of the General's life before sending him off to the next with big action and explosive developments. That said, Zod makes odd choices that don't make sense, and the plot has yet to materialize. Read Full Review

We are a third of the way through the book and the focus and events keep shifting radically, perhaps showing how chaotic life as Zod must be. But I wonder if all the plot threads and ideas that are being showered on me in this book will ever be resolved. Read Full Review

I guess Ursa is really did. He lit her body on fire. Hard to come back from that. I'm not sure what happened to the planet though. If you know, let me in on the secret. Did he destroy it? I'm still not buying that Zod stole Kandor from Superman and Superman never bothered to track him down to get it back. I did like the action in this issue vs. the Khunds.
