The artwork for this issue was pretty solid on the whole. Though I'm torn on how I feel about some of Jess' expressions. It's clear they were trying to show us how hard she was concentrating, but they just sort of end up looking a bit off, though maybe that's just me. As per usual I loved the constructs shown, even the tendrils that sort of looked like boogers. And there were plenty of dramatic poses as well (I think Simon and Night Pilot got the best ones this issue). Read Full Review

This issue concludes our current story arc, which ties off the concept of a dating app forsuper-heroes. It raised the question of a romance between Simon and Jessica, which seems inevitable. As GL partners, they share a certain intimacy which sometimes translates into romance (sometimes toxic romance). What becomes of this deeper relationship remains tobe seen. Read Full Review

Green Lanterns #43 is the fast paced conclusion to the Human Trafficking story arc. It's large combative conclusion falls a little dull but Baz and Cruz pull through the keep the story interesting. Read Full Review

While I thought that this arc had some fun ideas, they were never really utilized and at the end of the day, this was kind of a bore that only seemed to be a "would they" or "won't they" in dealing with Simon and Jessica's relationship and even that aspect was just kind of tossed aside by the end.  I loved the art in this issue, but little else. Green Lanterns #43 is a bit of a letdown, but its not an awful read. It has its moments of fun and humor. The artwork is flawed but solid. The drawbacks keep me from being able to wholeheartedly recommend this comic, but, if youre into this series and its leads, then I can recommend it. That's quite the jump for Jessica Cruz to go from unable to make a construct to performing brain surgery on multiple conscious subjects. I don't buy it. I do like the ending though.

This was not an issue to jump into the end of a storyline. Although, the epilogue with the double dose of unrequited love still worked. And the art was alright.

Welcome to the Oblivion Bar where the first round is on me and the pretzels are free! Be warned: like the pickled eggs at the bar, this issue is going to get SPOILED rotten. So the entire point of the arc was to show that Jess likes Simon, then add tension at the end to see if they will get together, and then show us they won't. As a whole, this arc was just unnecessary, added way too many new characters and villains, and really was uninteresting. Then, the cliffhanger at the end was just creepy. So, Jess makes constructs to talk to? I guess but why does she make construct hunters or soldiers? It was just weird to put at the end. I can't wait to find out why!!!! ( sarcasm) Are we to think Jess is now schizophrenic? I think Seele y wants us to see she is really lonely but the end came off creepy and weird to me... and again like the entire arc, unnecessary. If you wanted to show or tell us that Jess is lonely and into Simon, it could have been done in one issue.. everything you just did in this arc... one issue and done! This arc could be skipped and the reader could pick up the book like they never left. Totally pointless to the overall story and it barely moved the lanterns forward. A Positive: the arc is over. Let's see what we get next! this was once such a good book. now I'm dropping it. it really has gone straight down to poop since Tim Seeley took over.
