That is not putting itdown or anything. It just feels like Green Lanterns has that great superhero comic-book feel to it that I do not get from other series. The story is good and has a nice cliffhanger ending and the art is very solid (I just wish we could get a consistentteam on this series). I am excited to read Green Lanterns every time it comes out, and for me, that is the sign of a good series! Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - Cat Wyatt
Dec 20, 2017I'm not super thrilled about the fact that the Molites on the cover look so drastically different from the Molites on the pages (though admittedly they look slightly less different when they're rampaging females). Like many other Green Lantern issues, the artwork here cuts details when it can. Frequently the focus is on specific parts of a scene, and usually, all the detail is dedicated there. Which I'm usually fine with unless they drop details on the face. That's just a pet peeve of mine. Read Full Review

Dec 20, 2017You're going to have a lot of alien names and alien science thrown at you in this issue and by the end, where a mystery that you didn't even know was a mystery is revealed....... it doesn't really mean much. I don't know what this arc is trying to do, but whatever it is, it's pretty boring so far. I like the overtones in the plot. Some elements of the plot don't land well, like sparring during the exposition, it was an attempt to keep that part of the comic exciting, but I wasn't buying it. The reveal at the end is intriguing... I'm assuming Liseth isn't underage, right?

Another issue with not much to like. Seeley is doing a poor job on this book. I'm hoping for a new writer soon. The artwork is poor also. Simon Baz looks like he's 35 years old sleeping with a 16 year old. This book needs a kick in the ass!
