This series just seems to be getting better with every issue.Future State: Gotham #7is both the end and the start of something great! I always love Williamson and Culver's work, and when you add in the art of Milonogiannis, you've hit the jackpot. Pleasant conclusion, to an emotional point. Jason saves the day, almost at the cost of his life. It was a good dialogue between Dick and Jason, making Dick look like the old Dick, smart and kind and Jason being mature. Ouch, it hurt that it wasn't Bruce, and I think it was great for many of us. He deceived us and now breaks hearts by confronting us with Jason's need for a family. Jason undercover is great. Even the understanding between Tim Fox and Jay went well.

I liked the twist that wasn't Hush, it's sad because Jason always wanted Bruce to trust him, that part broke my heart.

This was pretty good, seeing Jason achieving peace in a different way than usual was interesting. Though Warmonger is a shitty villain for sure, he's not Gotham material. Even the usurper Batman is tolerable here and I liked that Williamson made Jason the equivalent of Gordon in this Future State. Overall a pretty decent book though I'm not a fan of the manga style, not here at least. Still gets 0.5 in minus because again the second story was just released in a Batman Black and White earlier this year and on top of that it has Rossmo on art which is a sin in itself.

Elke keer als ik het moeilijk vind om iets van DC te kopen, valt dit boek, de kunst zelf is moeilijk, nu is het verhaal dat de kont van de imitator kust iets onaangenaams. Dat Dick accepteerde dat hij zijn naam eer aan doet, vond ik leuk. Jason die zichzelf opofferde voor het team was geweldig en uiteindelijk is hij de echte held van het verhaal. Dat was leuk.

Call me crazy, but I liked that in the end it was Hush. What really sucks here is the way they put the impostor Batman, the character is the most nefarious thing I have read, steamed in any comic you read.

Ugh hard to qualify, it has some good points, but then they are so clouded by the next forced inclusion, sorry I meant Batman. I just keep buying this so the character doesn't disappear, but so far there isn't much on the DC comics horizon worth pursuing.

This book is so pointless. It's a boring exposition dump on half-ass pages that DC decided to call "manga-inspired" because they couldn't bother to pay a colorist. Just bad writing all around. I pity the people who have to keep convincing themselves that this is amazing.
