But Why Tho? - William Tucker

    Jul 06, 2021

Crime Syndicate #5 is another incredible addition to the series. The plot is full and action, whilst keep the violence dark and unforgiving at the same time. All of the different characters involved give this world a huge depth, bringing with it personalities and opportunities for battle. Schmidt is exploring their own world now, and the great art by McKeown and Vines is providing special changes to each and every one of them. Read Full Review

This mini has been a wonderfully pleasant surprise. What I thought was going to just be a retelling of the Justice League's origin has taken on a life of its own has become an exciting glimpse into an Earth we haven't heard from in a while. I hope this series impacts the Suicide Squad book, that thing could use some content of this quality. Read Full Review

    Weird Science - Eric Shea

It's the Legion of Justice Vs. Johnny Quick and Atomica..... then it's the Crime Syndicate Vs. The Legion of Justice. Two fights for the price of one that show us more and more about both factions feuding on Earth-3 and while I would have liked to have seen more for this being the penultimate issue to the series, I had fun and thought the art was great throughout.   Read Full Review

While it's possible to pick at nearly any choice or page in Crime Syndicate #5, it's not worth the time invested because there's clearly nothing more to be asked about this misstep than: Who was this even for? Read Full Review
