Catwoman #10 jumps around nearly as much as a Christopher Nolan movie, starting in the thick of the action with one of Selina's allies in the back of a truck as Selina and one of her allies play their part in a high-end art auction. Jumping back and forth, we're introduced to these two characters before their story actually begins. It's a tricky way to kick off the issue, but I think it works " letting us follow along with their adventures and get to know them through their actions. Read Full Review

This book is pretty solid. Jones and Blanco work wonderfully together. This comic book won't change the world but there is a lot of like. It did feel a little short, but I enjoyed it. Overall, Catwoman #10 moved the story along and gives readers what you want from Selina Kyle. Theft, style, grimy streets, criminality, and action. I felt like the execution of it could have been more streamlined, but it doesn't degrade the book as a whole. I'm curious to see how the war against Penguin ends up. I love this comic, as it's one of the rare times I root for cats. Whether or not you are a fan of the Bat Family of titles, Catwoman is money well spent. Read Full Review

It's easy to assume that this issue was without direction. In terms of the plot of the meeting with Penguin in issue 7 and 8, not a lot has been added and there aren't any big shaking reveals. What there is, is a lot of thread pulling. The openness and the scope for consequences our hero could soon face are huge. While the art is an improvement from last issue and the cliffhanger offered some resolution, there are a lot of disconnections and missed opportunities. If Blanco is coming back next week he has to work on his animatics in conveying Selina's flow of motion. Cover art quality is good but lacking in relevance to the interior pages. Good points on showing Maggie still traumatized and paralleling that with a Pet Semetary-esque Adam Creel. I feel that Jolle should get back to the interiors because the initial artwork established a tone. While Fernando tries to capture it, it's still a different style. This book has promise, as does its plot, but the eyes tend to wander a little too much. Read Full Review

It's good enough without hitting any truly great heights. The disjointed narrative didn't work for me as much as it did in the last issue and the beats lack the punch that they should pack. But it's all set up with (hopefully) payoff all coming next issue. Heist stories are fine, and you expect them in a Catwoman story, but this issue feels a little too run of the mill. Selina continues to slog trough Villa Hermosa and while I really like the way Joelle Jones writes the character, there is just nothing interesting going on.  This book has been hit or miss with me the entire run and this one was a miss. Read Full Review

After the filler we get back to the actual plot or rather kind of, because we see most of the characters, who were introduced in this run, but the story is basically about Selina teaming up with a guy to steal something. Maybe he’s becoming her future love interest, what would be nice, because I need a break from the Batcat ship. Every other character doesn’t do much. I liked the scene with Penguin& the short one with Mrs. Creel, which was quite cool. Same goes for Selina taking care of her sister, even so Selina doesn’t really seem to know what she’s doing here. Problem is, that these characters are just there& don’t do much. They don’t really get explored or have a real story. That’s what’s making this story kind of lame. It’s issue 10& we still don’t really have a plot. I hope this gets fixed soon. The art is ok, but I preferred Jones own art. more

Art is just beautiful, but the story is just flat and not very interesting. I enjoy the writing, but the story itself is quite dull.

I will admit, I was intrigued at first but then when I kept reading this issue fell flat. Art was great, it's mainly where it went especially the whole meeting James part. And once again we see how Creel is doing, even though her cameo was rather pointless.

Boring!!! Dump the Creel story line fast. It's dragging this series down. Don't have Cat hook up with someone so soon after the crap on a non-wedding that was given to us loyal on time Catwoman fans. So the fans some respect and if your not going to put her and Bat back together then let her be alone till after there is some real closure to the Bat and Cat story. The fan's got screwed over enough with that betrayal from DC. Don't rub acid into the wounds. Dramatic yes but as a long time fan of this couple the whole walking away story really PO'd me. Cat and Bat have gone through so many things together. At times their relationship was treated like a yo-yo for years. He's pulled her close only to push her away over and over. She deserves to finally be happy with him. And we as fan deserve to have more interesting stories to read as well as new characters. more
