We only have three issues and we have not gotten much with the new Holiday and the mystery of it all. We got a small step with Calendar Man meeting. Holiday? Harvey? A Falcone? It feels like we need to start picking things up here. And maybe we are with this Calendar Man element. Read Full Review

Issue #7 of The Last Halloween is another solid entry of the series. It highlighted Batman and Robin's dynamic after a traumatic event and how they both share similar tragedies and how those tragedies brought them closer. Another overall good installment. Another minor gripe about this series is how inconsequential it can feel at time. Batman, Robin, Catwoman, Penguin, Riddler, Poison Ivy, and Mr Freeze have all been shot or nearly beat to death in this series and never once did it feel major or consequential. The time jumps are so frequent that many of them are healed in a matter of a couple panels

Releasing this at the same time as the waid samnee book was a mistake. This issue felt like it belonged in that story. This book is best when it focuses on Batman and robin, like in this issue. The rest of the book isn’t very good.
