The Saints are back-well, one of them is, and he's out for revenge on the Batgirls by putting Mr. D, Alysia Yeoh, and all their other friends in danger. You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff
May 17, 2023Only one issue left. Conrad and Cloonan have accomplished quite a lot in less than two years with the series. Its just too bad it has to end at only 19. The creative team has done an exemplary job of taking a tired, old setting and breathing new life into it for a couple of years. With any luck, there will be a future for the three Batgirls somewhere down the line. As for now--theres one more issue in June. Read Full Review

May 16, 2023This series has been one of the strongest books in DC's lineup for a long time, and that's heavily due to just how much love it clearly has for its lead characters. Read Full Review

May 16, 2023Batgirls #18 is an interesting issue with a fun plot that provides an interesting idea for the relationship between the citizens of the Hill and the Batgirls. There's really strong images as well and the issue leans into its strengths of relationship and characterization even down to the small details. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Gabe Hernandez
May 16, 2023Batgirls #18 is a decent little crime thriller with solid detective work, snappy dialog, strong emotional beats, and engaging drama. This issue exemplifies what the series should have been from the beginning. Conversely, the art is uneven, and the coloring is terrible. Read Full Review

May 17, 2023There are times where the art really shines but there are pages (such as the last page) where it just comes off as flat and rushed. All in all, an okay issue. Read Full Review

Batman-News - Matina Newsom
May 17, 2023This issue continues the narrative started in the last, but it feels rough around the edges. It explores themes of what it means to protect the place and people you care about, particularly through Grace herself. However, it also gets a little lost in trying to tie up loose ends by rushing the story, and peppering in characters who probably didn't need to make an appearance. All that comes together to make the read rocky, and not as smooth of a turn into the finale as I'd like it to be. Read Full Review
